We retain the traditional format for the winter league games. That is we play teams of 12 players in four legs of three players. Three from each team take it in turns to play against each other, and then another three from each team play against each other until all have played. All games are played at the Tewkesbury Road Clubhouse and start at 20:00. Each team is required to raise £15 at each game. £15 are to be given to the sticker and £15 are placed with the scorecard behind the bar. The teams are placed in one division following a decision made at the AGM. They play each other twice. Prizes will be awarded on Final's Night. On the same night the bottom-placed teams play for the Wooden Spoon. We usually invite the two bottom-placed teams and any others with the same number of points as the second from bottom. |
